On Dec 10, we walk to raise money for the unfortunate disabled children such as blind, deaf, crippled in Vietnam just in time for Christmas and New Year. With the help of many local churches, temples, and passionate, hardworking participants, we were able to raise more than $1,000 in one day. On the day of the Walk-a-thon, the weather was cold and windy. I had a economic final that same day so I was walking while reading my notes. Thanks to everyone that came out, we roughly have 30 volunteers that day, our walk-a-thon turned out great!! Despite how cold it was that day, I felt really warm inside because of how I know this money will bring to the children in VN a great Christmas.
