W.A.V.E performed for the seniors at the senior center in Houston for Tet Trung Thu. We sang two songs; one a traditional trio called Em Xem Hoi Trang Ram, describing the festive nature of the holiday, and the other, a more modern duet, Mai Con Yeu was added for the fun. At the Trung Thu festival for the elders, W.A.V.E was privy to many other things including a video on the origins of Tet Trung Thu, several pieces of artwork by local high school students, and also performances by other organizations. There were also light Trung Thu snacks that were passed out inside the center. It was great to see the Vietnamese community being so supportive and taking such great care of their seniors.
